Hello, and welcome to Machete Gaming!

My name is Maciej (Matt in English), and I’m the creator behind this channel and website.

Why Machete?
I lived abroad for many years and in the process, I made friends from various countries. My friends from latin countries struggled with my name and they found it to resemble word Machete. I grew to like that nick, especially since I always liked Danny Trejo.

I’ve been a passionate gamer for as long as I can remember. My first serious gaming memory is saving up money as a 9 years old kiddo to get Playstation 1. Final Fantasy VII was my first PS1 game of which I have very fond memories!

I love sharing my thoughts and experiences with others and so I created Machete Gaming to make video games focused content.
I strive to provide honest and informative reviews that can help my viewers make informed decisions about the games they want to play.
With this website, I aim to expand my content beyond just video format.

My goal with Machete Gaming is to create a trust-worthy space for gamers to come and learn about games with as little bullshit as possible.
